The Master in Robotics and Advanced Construction explores how automation, robotics and computational design are transforming the way we build, and the AEC industry. Through hands-on research and technical training, students engage with cutting-edge tools to prototype building systems, new materials and digital fabrication workflows.

Based at IAAC in Barcelona, the programme combines design studios, robotics labs and seminars with international faculty and industry professionals. Students learn to work with robotic arms, drones, sensors, custom hardware, 3D-printing and CNC, alongside AI and simulation environments.

The Master in Robotics and Advanced Construction is tailored for architects, engineers, designers and makers interested in redefining construction through robotics and digital craft. The curriculum addresses structural systems, circular design, real-time feedback and human-machine interaction – framing technology as a tool for more precise, efficient and sustainable architecture.

Barcelona, recognised as the World Capital of Architecture in 2026, provides a fitting context for this forward-looking programme. To support access, IAAC offers a range of scholarships covering 30 per cent to 50 per cent of tuition fees. Students develop projects that move between studio and site, code and concrete – preparing to lead the next wave of architectural production.
