According to the official information, the Summit consists of more than 500 events along with the primary programme. The event is also be serving as a trade show of AI products and solutions for more than 840 exhibitors comprising research labs, AI startups, tech companies, and more. One of the main highlights of the same is that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the AI Expo of 2026 shortly. The summit is based on the themes of, ‘People, Planet, and Progress,’ and its main focus will be to establish international cooperation for a sustainable artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Some of the most important sessions in the AI Impact Summit 2026 will be a Leaders’ Plenary for collective global partnerships, a specialised GPAI Council Meeting, and a Research Symposium. All these interactions have a single moto – to make the benefits of AI reach the developing nations without compromising on the government standards.
After inaugurating the India AI Impact Expo on Monday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had interacted with participating companies and upcoming startups at the venue. He had also visited several exhibition booths, where over 600 high-potential startups and 13 international country pavilions had been on display, reflecting global technological advancements.
