An asset management firm is poised to expand with a caravan holiday operator deal.

Aermont has agreed to buy Park Holidays UK.

Officials say the deal – set to be completed later this year – will “enable Park Holidays UK to enter its next phase of growth”.

Headquartered in Bexhill-On-Sea, in East Sussex, Park Holidays UK runs more than 50 sites stretching from the gateway to the Scottish Highlands to Devon and Cornwall.

Operating under the stewardship of US-based real estate investment trust Sun Communities since 2022, Park Holidays UK also manages sister brand Park Leisure.

Jeff Sills, Park Holidays UK chief executive, said: “We are grateful for Sun’s partnership and support over several years.

“We have continued to build and strengthen Park Holidays, and I am incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished.

“We look forward to the next chapter for the business under Aermont’s ownership and remain excited about the opportunities ahead.”

Giovanni Manfredi, Aermont managing director, added: “We are delighted to be part of the extraordinary business that the team at Park Holidays UK has created.

“We look forward to supporting the company as it embarks on its next phase of growth.”

Park Holidays UK’s estate also covers areas including Derbyshire, Essex, Kent, Sussex and Wales.
