London | Corporate Travel Management has struck a deal with the UK Home Office to finalise the repayment of tens of millions of pounds for overcharging taxpayers for accommodation, as the company scrambles to avoid being kicked off the Australian stock exchange.
Much of the overcharging related to bookings for hotel rooms used for quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, although Corporate Travel had also arranged accommodation for asylum seekers, including controversially managing a barge in southern England.
