The deals increase audioXi’s UK podcast reach to more than 10 million listeners a month
Bauer Media UK has significantly expanded the reach of its digital audio advertising platform audioXi through new partnerships with AdsWizz (SiriusXM Podcast Network) and Sport Social Podcast Network.
The deals increase audioXi’s UK podcast reach to more than 10 million listeners a month, strengthening its position as a major player in podcast advertising and giving brands access to nearly 4,000 podcast titles across every major genre.
Charlie Brookes, Director of Digital, Bauer Media Audio UK, said the deals give advertisers “fresh, scalable ways to reach highly engaged listener communities” while maintaining the premium standards expected from audioXi.
Under the agreement with AdsWizz, audioXi becomes the exclusive UK sales representative for advertising on the SiriusXM Podcast Network (also covering Ireland and the Nordic markets). This brings some of the world’s biggest podcasts into audioXi’s marketplace, including:
- The Mel Robbins Podcast
- SmartLess
- Call Her Daddy
- Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend
AdsWizz’s ad-tech and targeting tools will be used to deliver more precise, data-driven campaigns for UK advertisers.
Meanwhile, the partnership with Sport Social, Europe’s largest sports podcast network, adds deep sports coverage to audioXi’s offering. Advertisers will be able to reach highly engaged fans across football, Formula 1, rugby, cricket, golf and more, through shows such as:
- The Anfield Wrap
- Joe Marler’s Things People Do
- For the Love of Rugby
- Undr The Cosh
Paul Brown, VP at AdsWizz, said the partnership would help UK advertisers connect with SiriusXM’s podcast audiences using advanced targeting technology.
Together, the partnerships push audioXi’s podcast network to over 12 million UK monthly downloads, giving advertisers access to richer audience data and more addressable campaigns across premium, brand-safe content.
These additions sit alongside Bauer’s own Rayo Original podcasts, including Man Made with Pete Wicks, What’s My Age Again? with Katherine Ryan and Lost in Translation with Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Márquez. They also complement Bauer’s wider audio and publishing portfolio, including Absolute Radio, KISS, Magic Radio, Grazia, Empire and CAR.
Sophie Hind, Managing Director of Sport Social, said the deal reflects growing demand for sports podcasting, particularly around major sporting events, and supports the network’s continued growth.
“With podcast listening continuing to rise in the UK, Bauer Media’s expanded audioXi offering places it firmly at the forefront of digital audio advertising, giving brands more scale, smarter targeting and access to some of the most popular podcasts in the world.” – Vivian Summers, ATV’s media expert
