RECONOME, a leading circular IT solutions provider and certified B Corp, has committed to delivering 85,000 devices to digitally excluded people across the UK by June 2029, through an expanded partnership with Good Things Foundation.
The long-term collaboration will see Reconome become the exclusive technology partner of the charity’s National Device Bank, providing a sustainable and reliable supply of laptops, tablets and mobile devices to people who need them most.
The partnership comes at a critical time, as millions of people across the UK continue to face digital exclusion. According to Good Things Foundation’s Digital Nation 2025 data, 7.9 million people lack basic digital skills, while 1.6 million adults do not have access to a smartphone, tablet or laptop, leaving many unable to access essential services, education, employment opportunities and community support.
Building on a successful pilot launched three years ago, the expanded partnership marks a shift away from one-off device donations towards a long-term, circular approach that maximises device reuse for social impact while reducing electronic waste. By combining Reconome’s technical expertise and corporate relationships with Good Things Foundation’s national delivery network, the collaboration aims to significantly accelerate progress in closing the digital divide.

Since April 2022, Good Things Foundation has expanded its network of National Digital Inclusion Hubs to 667 locations, distributed 28,992 devices, and supported a further 33,112 household members who benefit when devices are shared within families and communities. The new agreement with Reconome is expected to significantly increase this reach over the coming years.
