A CAR dealership at the heart of a community for over 50 years could be about to close its doors.
The site is currently under review by its owners who are looking at the business’ finances.

Truscott’s of Launceston has been a landmark in North Cornwall since it first opened back in the 1970s.
Over the decades, the business has changed hands and sold different brands, moving from Chrysler to Peugeot.
Now, more than half a century later, the future of the showroom is being questioned by the big firm that owns it.
Vertu Motors plc was set up in 2006 and has spent years buying up smaller local garages across the UK.
This latest review means the company is deciding if the Launceston branch is still making enough money to stay open.
Many locals see the garage as a vital part of the town, providing jobs and a familiar place to buy a car.
If the site closes, it will mark the end of an era for one of the longest-running businesses in the area.
It’s thought staff and customers are now waiting for news on whether the showroom will be saved or shut down for good.
A spokesperson for Vertu Motors plc told The Sun: “We have carefully reviewed the financial viability of our Launceston Peugeot, Barnstaple Peugeot and Barnstaple Volvo dealerships, and made the difficult decision to enter consultation with our colleagues at these locations, with a view to potentially closing them in early February.
“Customers can continue to receive the high-quality service from these locations until we agree the outcome of this consultation process or from our other dealerships in the area.”
