Tuck has been named among The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2026, an annual list that celebrates entrepreneurial leaders who drive economic progress across the UK.

He said: “Ambition is easy to claim and harder to demonstrate.

“For us it shows up in our digital product work, where the standards are exceptionally high.

“To be recognised for ambition, trailblazing and innovation at the same time is a credit to our people, and to our clients who trust us with their products.”

The LDC Top 50 was created by private equity investor LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, in partnership with The Times.

This year’s 50 honourees were selected from 650 nominations and collectively generate £1.4 billion in annual revenues while employing nearly 8500 people.

John Garner, managing partner at LDC, said: “What stands out about this year’s LDC Top 50 is not only what these leaders have already achieved, but their determination to keep moving forward.

“Across the UK, they are finding new opportunities, investing in their people and building for the future.

“I congratulate every leader featured this year and wish them continued success.”

Waracle was also named a 2026 Trailblazer by WIRED Consulting in partnership with HSBC Commercial Banking, recognising its influence as a forward-thinking business redefining industry standards.

The WIRED Trailblazers programme, delivered in partnership with HSBC UK, recognises a select group of small and medium-sized businesses that are redefining industry standards through innovation, driving growth, and leading positive change.

Waracle was chosen for its track record of delivering innovative digital products, data, and AI solutions for leading organisations across the UK.

With more than 330 employees and offices in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, and Sofia, Bulgaria, Waracle has continued its upward trajectory with more than 30% organic revenue growth in 2026 and 10 major new client wins.

This growth has been supported by more than 100 new hires across the business.

The company’s long-term vision is to expand its workforce to 500 people across the UK and Bulgaria and to reach £60 million in revenue by 2028.

Waracle focuses on solving complex technology challenges through digital product design and engineering.

The company has also been shortlisted for the Financial Services Innovation award at the Scottish Financial Technology Awards 2026, alongside its pension and savings partner Mylo from Aegon.

This nomination recognises their work on the Postcards from tomorrow project.

Waracle’s client portfolio includes major names such as ScottishPower Energy Networks, Royal London, Roche, and People’s Partnership.

The company’s expertise spans highly regulated sectors including health, financial services, energy, and the public sector.
