IIT Kanpur Launches AI & ML Courses: Registration Opens Soon

 IIT Kanpur has launched new specialized courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), offering in-depth skill advancement in these technologies. The registration for the programmes will start from June 15, 2026 on IIT Kanpur’s official website. The course is designed for a short duration and can be completed in four weeks. Offering a flexible approach to learning, the course is open to a larger audience, including students, professionals, researchers, faculty members and R&D individuals. 

The course covers extensive understanding of AI, ML, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning. It will allow candidates seeking expertise in the field with practical experience, and theoretical knowledge. Eligibility Criteria

IIT Kanpur usually accepts admissions based on marks, and other criterias, but for AI and ML courses, you don’t necessarily have to be a professional to get admission to these courses. These programs are aimed for different individuals like tech enthusiasts, and data aspirants ( who qualify for these categories.

1. Candidate from backgrounds including- B.Tech/ BE students, B.Sc/ BBA/ BCA students, M.Tech/ ME students, M.Sc/ MBA/ MCA student, Ph.D. scholars pursuing research, exceptional class XI/ XII students, Faculty members of Engineering/ Science/ Management, Professionals from Industry and R&D Organizations can apply to the courses, acquiring a minimum of 50% marks. 

2. Candidates can have a foundational knowledge of mathematics and basic programming concepts. 

Admission Process

The course is highly interactive, offering candidates a masterclass experience. While the seats are limited, admission will be done directly after the registration and on profile based. There is no requirement for GATE scores for the courses. To apply:
