WtX is another name for alternative waste treatment technologies, including Energy from Waste (EfW).
The agreement will also see the global contractor install digital solutions which include advanced robotics, IoT platform integration, drone technology, computer vision models and predictive maintenance software.

The agreement follows a pilot project at Kanadevia Inova’s O&M site in Slough which saw ANYbotics’ ANYmal unit perform several tasks built around autonomous plant inspections.
The robots will be offered as a service to plant owners and Kanadevia Inova said it hopes to also extend the advanced robotics to biogas facilities and metal recovery sites.

The partnership has deployments planned for Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, the UK and the US.
