Telstra (TLS ASX) boardroom gets AI agent to assist board members

If Telstra’s board members are struggling to remember the details of one of the telco’s many ongoing projects, or need a refresh on one of the areas discussed months ago among mountains of documents, they now have an AI bot to help them out.

The new artificial intelligence agent, built by the company’s joint venture team with tech services giant Accenture, has been in service in the company’s boardroom since February and is already earning its seat at the table, according to company secretary Craig Emery.
