Ben said: “I’m delighted to be joining Squire Patton Boggs at a pivotal moment for both the firm and the wider deals market.

“With more than 13 years’ experience across the private equity, advisory and founder communities, I bring a strong network and a deep understanding of how trusted relationships drive successful transactions.

“There is a clear opportunity for Squire Patton Boggs to further differentiate its offering through proactive, relationship‑driven deal origination that complements its market‑leading legal expertise.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with colleagues across the firm to support business owners and sponsors, and contribute to the firm’s long‑term growth.”

Ben’s appointment strengthens Squire Patton Boggs’ Manchester team as it continues to expand its corporate offering across the North West.

James Fitzgibbon, corporate partner and managing partner of Squire Patton Boggs in Manchester, added: “We are delighted to welcome Ben to the firm.

“He is highly respected across the UK market, with an extensive network and a strong track record of building trusted relationships.

“Ben’s entrepreneurial mindset and strategic, relationship‑led approach are an excellent fit with our culture and how we approach serving our clients, and we are confident he will make a significant contribution to the continued success of our busy and still growing corporate team.”

Paul Mann, European head of private equity of Squire Patton Boggs, added: “Ben’s appointment is a measure of how we are continually looking to innovate and approach the market in different ways.

“Working with partners across the UK, Ben’s insight and experience will help us continue to develop and build our practice.”
