Volvo Car UK introduces its first commercial vehicle

Share

Volvo Car UK’s first commercial vehicle, the EX30 Cargo, is now on sale from £36,010 (P5 standard range) and is available exclusively through Volvo Car UK’s fleet sales channels.

Developed from the fully electric EX30 compact SUV, the new Cargo variant delivers additional practicality and load-carrying capability.

Jack Munford, Head of Fleet at Volvo Car UK, said: “While we are best known for our passenger vehicles, we recognise that business owners and fleets also want the quality, safety and technology that Volvo is renowned for in a compact commercial vehicle too, which is why we created the extremely practical EX30 Cargo.”

The vehicle is available in two variants: the EX30 Cargo and the EX30 Cross Country Cargo which offers additional ground clearance.

For MY27, the new P3 (150hp) Extended Range powertrain will be introduced for customers who require lower power output than the P5 (272hp) while still benefiting from impressive electric range of up to 300 miles.

The powerful P8 (428hp) All Wheel Drive powertrain is also offered for those seeking even higher performance.

To create the cargo bay, the rear seats have been replaced with a flat floor and an access panel to the lower floor, maximising the payload to 390kg and a load capacity of 1,000 litres.

A specially designed payload bulkhead separates the cabin from the cargo area, while modified rear side panels and doors increase available load volume.
