A woman has crashed her car into the entrance of a Farmfoods store in a UK city, sparking an emergency services response.
Police were called to the supermarket on Green Lane in Stoneycroft, Liverpool, at around 3.22pm on Sunday, October 18, following reports the driver had lost control of the vehicle and accidentally driven into the front of the store.
Merseyside Police and the North West Ambulance Service attended the scene. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police told the Liverpool Echo there were “no visible injuries”.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service was also called as a precaution after fluid was seen coming from the car, which appeared to be a petrol leak.
Pictures taken at the scene by a Liverpool Echo reporter showed a silver car halfway into the entrance of the supermarket.
Several police officers and ambulances could be seen outside the store, with bystanders also gathered nearby.
