JPMorgan seeks risk transfer on $4bn private equity loan book; Goldman to settle 1MDB suit for $500mn

JPMorgan is in talks with investors to transfer risk linked to more than $4bn of loans to private equity funds, according to an FT report citing sources familiar with the matter.

The planned deal would cover net asset value loans, which are secured against the value of private equity fund holdings, the sources said. JPMorgan would keep the loans on its balance sheet while shifting a portion of potential losses to investors.
