Cybersecurity firm eyes growth with new city office

Share

A cybersecurity firm has opened a Leeds office as it presses on with growth plans.

Private equity-backed Xypher has launched the base with a team of 13.

Located in the Platform building above Leeds railway station, bosses say the office will support the company’s continued expansion and provide a base for its growing sales team.

They add the team will help drive demand for Xypher’s cybersecurity services, which include threat prevention, detection and response, as well as compliance and digital forensic investigations.

Matthew Parker, Xypher chief executive, said: “We’re seeing unprecedented levels of demand for our services, with a shifting cyber landscape and advancing threats from a variety of sources.

“Our business has the people and capability to provide complete cybersecurity solutions across public and private sector organisations.

“While our sector is already seeing double-digit growth year on year, our unique proposition means we’re ready to out-perform competitors.

“Providing services that take advantage of a range of technology, but never forgetting that vital human element to cybersecurity, sets us apart.

“Our newest office location has been chosen because of Leeds’ strong credentials in tech and professional services, as well as its attractiveness to young people and recent graduates.

“We undertook a special recruitment day in the city last month, which resulted in an exceptionally high calibre of candidate for these roles.

“We look forward to significant growth in the coming years.”
