Focuses on the intersection of cybersecurity and leadership

Sessions focus on adaptability, resilience, leadership under pressure, psychological safety, and cultivating an inclusive, future‑ready cybersecurity culture.
Computing has released the full agenda for the upcoming Security Leaders Summit held on 26 March at One Moorgate Place in London. The event is open to senior IT professionals and focuses on the intersection of cybersecurity and leadership.
The programme brings together research, case studies and peer discussion to address the challenges facing today’s security leaders, from emerging threats to operational resilience and leadership under pressure. Sessions explore how security teams can adapt to an increasingly complex threat landscape while maintaining trust, continuity and organisational confidence.
A central theme of the agenda is preparation for next‑generation threats. Computing’s Research Director, John Leonard will present his latest research on quantum computing. This session explores perceptions of the quantum threat and the cost and requirements for mitigation, measures under way to quantum-proof systems in various types of business, as well as opportunities presented by the coming quantum age.
Operational resilience is another key focus, with sessions examining how organisations can strengthen their response to disruption. As recent high‑profile attacks have shown, no organisation is immune to infiltration. The agenda features a dedicated session on creating a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan to minimise the effects if the worst does happen. This is presented by Gurps Khaira, Global Cybersecurity Change Management Programme Manager at HSBC.
Beyond technology, the programme places strong emphasis on the human side of security leadership. Whether that is the overwhelming pressure from other parts of the business, the need to nurture and retain new talent or how to break-free of their own expectations of role. These are covered in the sessions on:
- ‘Panel Discussion: When the Playbook Breaks: Leading Teams Through Pressure’ with Tom Allen, Editor at Computing, Bronwyn Boyle, CISO at PPRO, Vikram Singh, Senior Security Architect at Thames Water and Henry Amadiegwu, CIO at Zenith Bank UK
- ‘Fireside Chat: Breaking Barriers: How Leaders Can Support the Next Gen Cyber Talent’ with Penny Horwood, Associate Editor at Computing and Tej Singh, Business Information Security Officer at Channel 4
- ‘The Unlearning Journey: How Dropping Everything I ‘Knew’ About Security Made Me a Better Leader’ presented by Lisa Ventura MBE, Chief Executive & Founder at AI & Cybersecurity Association
Lastly, attendees can learn more about the key offerings from vendors. This includes a presentation from Seamus Lennon, Vice President of Operations at ThreatLocker about how companies can simplify their cybersecurity strategy. The summit also incorporates boardroom sessions and structured networking, giving delegates the opportunity to engage in peer‑to‑peer discussion and hear directly from vendors in a closed‑door environment designed to encourage open, practical conversation.
Registration is free and open to senior IT professionals from end user companies. The full agenda and registration can be found on the website.
