More than 550 guests representing vehicle repairers, insurers and key industry suppliers gathered for the annual awards, which recognise excellence in environmental leadership, people development, wellbeing, diversity, community impact and customer care.

After being a finalist last year, Fix Auto Mid Devon collected the NBRA Staff Wellbeing Award 2026.

Erika Woolacott, co-owner of Fix Auto Mid Devon with sister Alena, said: “We have been working hard for a long time to transform our entire operation and make it as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.

“To receive a Gold Award for a second consecutive year is a remarkable achievement and reflects our ongoing commitment to operating a greener business. Being recognised with the Wellbeing Award was simply the icing on the cake.”

Meanwhile, Fix Auto Basingstoke owner Dale Morris collected the Platinum Award for environmental performance as well as the coveted Sustainability Award 2026.

Fix Auto Park Royal and Fix Auto Penzance were also named as finalists in the Sustainability category while Kenneth Rubolinyane of Fix Auto Chelmsford was a finalist in the Bob Linwood Greener Apprentice Award 2026 and Linda Innes of Fix Auto Mid Devon was a finalist in the Customer Service Award 2026.

The group’s environmental achievements were further recognised with Fix Auto Mid Devon collecting a Gold Greener Award for the second consecutive year, while Fix Auto Newton Abbot was recognised in the Gold category alongside Fix Auto Oswestry, Fix Auto Wrexham, and Fix Auto Penzance.

Fix Auto Redhill and Fix Auto Skegness both received Silver Greener Awards.
