A Lutterworth telecommunications infrastructure services firm has secured a new funding package to support its expansion and pursue further opportunities across the UK.
Celltech Communications has agreed a package with Arbuthnot Commercial Asset Based Lending comprising a confidential invoice discounting facility and a revolving credit facility.
The finance is designed to provide additional working capital as the business expands.
Celltech provides rigging, electrical, logistics and surveying services for the installation, upgrading, maintenance and decommissioning of mobile telecommunications towers.
The company received significant investment from private equity firm Key Capital Partners in December 2025, with the backing aimed at supporting its founders through the next phase of growth.
David Cameron, investment manager at Key Capital Partners, said the new facilities would strengthen Celltech’s ability to capitalise on demand for 5G infrastructure.
“Celltech has grown rapidly since its inception and, with the appropriate funding package in place, is now even better positioned to benefit from the increasing demand for 5G infrastructure across the UK,” he said.
“Arbuthnot adopted a pragmatic, commercial approach throughout the process and demonstrated a clear understanding of the business and its growth trajectory.
“This funding provides greater confidence and flexibility as Celltech moves into its next phase of growth.”
Richard Ackers, director of business development at Arbuthnot Commercial Asset Based Lending, said the facilities would provide Celltech with the working capital needed to execute its growth strategy.
He said: “We were delighted to work closely with Key Capital Partners to deliver a flexible funding solution that aligns with Celltech’s ambitions.
“The combination of facilities provides the working capital required to help the business execute its strategy and capitalise on opportunities within the UK telecoms infrastructure services market.”
