The AI job apocalypse is a myth, according to the evidence to date

It is the question every worker asks and every employer dodges. Two years after generative AI went mainstream, Australia now has an official answer, and it is more reassuring than the hyped headlines suggest.

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations released its first AI and Employment in Australia report this week, tracking occupations exposed to generative AI since ChatGPT’s launch in late 2022.
