Azets appoints corporate finance director

International accountancy and business advisory group Azets has strengthened its corporate finance team in Yorkshire with the appointment of Ben Hick as associate director, based in its Leeds office.

Ben joins Azets with ten years’ experience from PwC and KPMG, where he advised privately owned and private equity-backed businesses across sectors including business services, industrials and TMT. 

Most recently, he held the role of corporate development director at a large private equity-backed organisation, supporting national and international expansion.

His expertise includes advising on private equity investment, trade exits, cross-border transactions, carve-outs and growth capital raises. 

In his new role, Ben will support businesses at different stages of their growth journey across Yorkshire, the UK and internationally.

He said: “I am thrilled to be joining a formidable corporate finance team with such an excellent reputation.

Ben is the first corporate finance hire of 2026 for Azets, following a period of significant investment in the team. Azets operates from offices in Leeds, Bradford and York, employing more than 300 people across Yorkshire.
