THIS clever car hack will make your air con blow twice as cold – and it costs less than £1.
The trick will mean drivers can stay cool as temperatures are set to hit 33C this weekend.

With temperatures across the UK set to soar, many drivers face sitting in the sweltering heat as they hit the road this bank holiday weekend.
While many of us will be cranking on the air con, the sweltering heat is often still too much to bear – but a handy hack using a tea towel could be the answer.
The quick-fix solution can be prepared almost instantly and will hardly cost you anything.
For motorists heading off on a long drive this bank holiday, first begin by running the tea towel under the tap until completely soaked through.
Next, pop it in the freezer – ideally laying it as flat as you can.
It’s best to leave the wet rag to freeze for as long as possible – definitely a few hours, or ideally for the night – to ensure it’s frozen solid.
When it’s time for your journey, grab the ice cold tea towel and pop it in front of your vehicle’s air vent.
Rather than being faced with a blast of stale, warm air that has been sitting in the vehicle, your frozen towel will provide a steady stream of cooling air – ideal for making a hot summer’s drive bearable.
For motorists tempted to try the hack, Dunelm is currently offering shoppers a set of three tea towels for just £1 – meaning a single tea towel will set you back only 33p.
If you need any more convincing, one driver who tested out the tea towel trick said he noticed the cold air at once and his “whole car began to cool down over the next five minutes”, reports The Herald.
One drawback of the handy hack is that the tea towel does dry up pretty quickly, rendering the rag pretty ineffective.
“But, by the time this happened, the car was already much cooler, and the air being blown at me from the vents was much more refreshing,” reassured the driver.
With amber health alerts issued across parts of the UK this weekend, the car hack will be a great way to ensure a comfortable, cool drive in the heat.
