The company specialised in curated UK and international holiday packages to destinations including the Amalfi Coast, Bordeaux, and Norway.

TS Travel Realisations Ltd ‘ceases trading’ after falling into administration

TS Travel Realisations Ltd fell into administration back in May after seven years in business, according to Companies House.

Michael Solomons and Andrew Pears from Moorfields Advisory were appointed joint administrators on May 14.

Former chief executive Charles Starmer-Smith blamed several factors for the collapse, but said all holiday bookings would go ahead as planned.

Mr Starmer-Smith, talking in Travel Weekly, said: “Despite the growth of our agency and operator arm, TS Travel, the impact of Covid and the challenging trading conditions across the wider business, coupled with declining search traffic and circulation among our partners, resulted in the businesses entering administration.

“However, all holidays will proceed as planned, and no customers will be affected, with all bookings continuing to be protected through the Travel Trust Association.”

The Travel Network Group bought Tripsmiths and TS Travel following the administration announcement (they now operate under Tripsmiths Travel).

Mr Starmer-Smith added: “We are delighted that The Travel Network Group has acquired the businesses as they will provide the support, expertise and trade partnership opportunities that will enable the business to thrive and expand the range of its hand-crafted expert-led tours which offer something truly unique in the travel market.”

In the latest update, TS Travel Realisations Ltd has now ceased trading as an ATOL holder (on August 6).

ATOL said: “TS Travel Realisations Ltd operated under a franchise arrangement with The Travel Trust Association (‘TTA’).

“Consumers who require assistance regarding their booking, should contact TTA directly by emailing enquiries@thetravelnetworkgroup.co.uk.”

Other UK travel companies that have closed in 2026

Meanwhile, four UK airlines have fallen into administration or liquidation this year:

  • Zenith Aviation Limited (administration)
  • European Cargo (administration)
