Maidenhead-based automotive business Volvo Car UK has appointed Matt Benns as commercial operations director.
Matt brings extensive experience across the automotive sector, having held senior roles at organisations including Volkswagen Group UK, Mazda UK and Keyloop, and most recently served as chief executive at ELLA Digital.
In his new role, he will oversee new, used and fleet sales, as well as network development and aftersales operations.
Matt said: “Volvo Cars has long stood for innovation, safety and progressive thinking, so it’s a privilege to join the business at such a pivotal time with the upcoming launch of the Volvo EX60.
“I’m looking forward to working with the talented teams across the organisation and our retail partners to build on the brand’s strong foundations and unlock new opportunities for growth.”
His appointment strengthens Volvo Car UK’s leadership team as it continues to develop its commercial strategy and customer offering.
