Aldi to upgrade Paisley store as part of major investment plan

Share

Aldi has revealed plans to invest more than £20m in Scotland as part of its 2026 expansion plans, including a store upgrade in Paisley. It was not revealed which store in Paisley.

The plans also include new stores in Bishopbriggs and Dumbarton, with additional upgrades set for Greenock, Stirling, Linlithgow and Musselburgh.

This investment forms part of a wider £1.6bn two-year programme across the UK.

The planned upgrades and new openings aim to support Aldi’s long-term goal of reaching 1500 stores across the UK.

“By extending some stores and by upgrading and improving others across the country, we can serve even more customers while creating better shopping environments for our colleagues and shoppers.

“Together with our new stores, that will mean more people can access Aldi’s high-quality products at unbeatable prices.”
