IBM UK has acquired Logiq Consulting, a Bristol-based cybersecurity consultancy specialising in the defence industry, critical national infrastructure and the public sector.
The deal extends IBM’s cybersecurity transformation portfolio and adds capabilities to SiXworks, an IBM company focused on defence and public sector digital transformation.
Logiq Consulting brings expertise in cybersecurity assurance, secure-by-design principles, secure systems engineering, digital transformation and secure managed services.

The business has developed DISX, which it describes as a managed, sovereign collaboration platform that enables government suppliers to securely exchange sensitive information with UK government and defence organisations.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.
