Hobbycraft and Post Office partnership opens Crawley branch

A new Post Office branch has opened within the Hobbycraft store at Unit 2A County Oak Retail Park, Crawley.

The Mayor of Crawley, Councillor Sharmilla Sivarajah, officially opened the branch by cutting the ribbon.

Hobbycraft’s retail director, Darren Kay, said: “Introducing Post Office to Hobbycraft Crawley is incredibly exciting.

“Our store colleagues are eager to deliver these services alongside the expert hobby and craft guidance they provide day in, day out.”

The branch, near Crawley Hospital and major road links, offers convenience with free time-restricted parking and extended opening hours.

It is one of five new branches opened in Hobbycraft stores across the UK this month.

Callum Bonfield, Post Office Strategic Partnerships Manager, said: “The launch of our partnership with Hobbycraft marks an important milestone for Post Office, reinforcing our strategy of building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with leading UK retailers.”

The branch will offer 70 hours of weekly service.

This includes everyday banking, mail and parcel services and currency exchange, alongside the opportunity to shop at Hobbycraft.

Councillor Sivarajah said: “The opening of County Oak Post Office is exciting news for the town.

“With the branch open daily and with really good opening hours it makes it very convenient to pop in.”
