Mobeus Equity Partners-backed Orbital Internet Group has acquired Leisure Park Internet Solutions, (LPIS) a Harrogate-based specialist provider of internet connectivity to holiday parks and leisure venues across the UK.

It marks a further step in Orbital’s strategy to improve connectivity standards across holiday parks and marinas, bringing together greater scale, specialist expertise and strong customer relationships.

Headquartered in Kent, Orbital is a provider of high-speed internet solutions across the UK, with a strong presence in leisure venues alongside business and residential markets.

It offers connectivity in rural and hard-to-reach locations through a combination of organic growth and targeted acquisitions.

With the addition of LPIS, it now provides connectivity to around 360 parks, supporting more than 70,000 end users nationwide.

The latest deal builds on Orbital’s momentum following its acquisition of ClubWiFi in 2025, further strengthening its national footprint and reinforcing its position in the leisure and tourism connectivity market.

The group’s specialist leisure division will now comprise LPIS, ClubWiFi and Vfast Parks, Orbital’s dedicated holiday park brand, providing broader national coverage, enhanced network resilience and continued innovation for customers across the sector.

Guy Blackburn, partner at Mobeus Equity Partners, said: “Mobeus is pleased to continue supporting Orbital’s buy-and-build strategy, bringing together complementary businesses with strong reputations, high-quality infrastructure and longstanding customer relationships.

“The acquisition of LPIS reflects our commitment to backing scalable platforms in attractive, consolidating markets, and we look forward to continuing to support the Orbital team as they expand the group’s capabilities and reach across the leisure and tourism sectors.”

John Slingsby, CEO of Orbital Internet Group, added: “We are very pleased to be partnered with Mobeus as we continue to deliver both organic and acquisitive growth across Orbital’s leisure and wider B2B markets.

“The acquisition of LPIS is an important step in delivering our long-term ambitions, and with Mobeus’s continued support, Orbital is going from strength-to-strength.”
