Kitchen maintenance provider gains private equity investment

Share

Kitchen cleaning and maintenance specialist TWO Services has secured a strategic growth investment from YFM Equity Partners, an independent UK private equity firm.

The investment gives TWO Services additional resources to invest in its operations and pursue its next stage of growth, while the family values and culture that have underpinned its success remain unchanged.

Founded in 1986 by Alan Osborn, and still led by the next generation of the Osborn family today, TWO Services has grown from its Essex roots into a national partner for cleaning, maintenance and equipment supply across the contract catering and FM sectors.

It has operational centres in London and Leeds and employs a team of around 100 people.

As part of the partnership, TWO Services will expand its engineering and cleaning teams, upgrade its equipment and grow its coverage across the UK.

Mr Osborn said: “This is a hugely exciting moment for TWO Services. This partnership gives us a real opportunity to strengthen our operations, accelerate our growth and build an even brighter future for the business.

“But I want to be clear about what won’t change: the family values and culture that have made us successful for 40 years remain at the heart of everything we do, for our people and for our clients.”

Zach Francis, investment director at YFM Equity Partners, said: “Over 40 years, the Osborn family and the wider team have built TWO Services into a trusted specialist, with long-standing client relationships and a culture reflected in the loyalty of its people.

“The opportunity to grow across each of its service lines and extend its national coverage, while preserving the values behind its success, made this a compelling investment. We’re looking forward to working with Barry and the team on the next stage of the business’s growth.”
