At Automate 2026, Doosan Robotics introduced PalletizHD+, an AI-powered palletizing system that combines its P3020 collaborative robot with a redesigned software platform aimed at making end-of-line automation easier to deploy and faster to operate.
In the accompanying video, Andrew Cook, Managing Director of Doosan Robotics Americas, explains that the system is the result of the company’s acquisition of palletizing specialist Onexia and a subsequent effort to re-engineer the platform.

PalletizHD+ is built around Doosan’s five-axis P3020 cobot, which offers a 30-kg payload and a 2-m reach. The robot is paired with the company’s proprietary PalletizOS platform, which brings robot control, simulation and application software into a unified environment.
“It’s a cost-effective robot,” said Cook. “What we’ve been able to accomplish with our robotic engineers and AI software developers is to create a completely new generation of software that is easy to use.”
The software is designed to remove much of the programming complexity typically associated with palletizing applications. Operators enter box dimensions and pallet parameters and the system automatically generates and recommends optimized stacking patterns. A smartphone-like interface is intended to simplify setup and speed changeovers when packaging formats, product types or box sizes change, noted the company’s press release.
The headline feature is SwiftMove, an AI-based motion optimization engine that analyzes robot trajectories and refines movement paths before operation. It uses the same hardware as the previous-generation PalletizHD system, and Cook said the software increases performance from seven or eight picks per minute to as many as 11—an improvement of roughly 57%.

The platform also incorporates remote support capabilities that allow users to monitor system status and troubleshoot issues, which helps to reduce downtime and response times.
“We now have what is the best performing collaborative robot palletizer on the market that can go ahead and run in a very small footprint, run safely, does not need guarding and is very, very easy to use,” said Cook.
