S&W strengthens international tax team

Share

Professional services group S&W has appointed Ben Sharpe as international tax partner in its London-based business tax team, expanding its international tax offering.

Ben joins from EY, where he became a partner in 2025, following 15 years at PwC and EY advising private equity and non-private equity backed businesses on domestic and cross-border tax matters.

An international and corporate tax specialist, he brings extensive experience in business tax advisory, transaction structuring and navigating complex global tax environments.

Ben said: “I’m delighted to be joining the firm at a time when international and domestic tax matters continue to remain under significant scrutiny, while showing no sign of becoming less complex.

“I look forward to supporting the continued growth of S&W and working closely with clients, from private equity and private equity-backed groups through to other ambitious organisations, to navigate that complexity in a practical and commercially focused way.”

Ben’s appointment supports S&W’s continued growth strategy and further strengthens the firm’s international tax capabilities for mid-market and international clients.

Mark Webb, head of business tax at S&W, added: “Ben’s appointment reflects our continued investment in strengthening and broadening our business tax capabilities.

“International tax is a key area of focus for our clients, particularly in light of ongoing global tax reform and increasing complexity.

“Ben’s experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to support clients with high-quality, commercially driven advice as part of our long-term growth strategy.”
