Ex-Canmoor director Rodney Hunt has joined the European last mile logistics platform to help lead its investment and asset management division.
Crossbay is the logistics-focussed arm of the London-headquartered MARK Capital Management, which has managed nearly €20bn in assets since its founding in 2004. Hunt will be based in Manchester.
Prior to joining MARK as the UK vice president for investment and asset management at Crossbay, Hunt was a director at Canmoor. There, he was charged with managing a 4m sq ft portfolio. His CV also includes time as the investment director at Property Alliance Group and as a director at Epsilon Real Estate Partners.
Reflecting on his new role, Hunt said: “Crossbay has carved out a market-leading position in European urban logistics thanks to its ability to unlock a granular asset class through a deeply embedded network of local on-the-ground teams across its target markets.
“I look forward to playing a key role in building Crossbay’s UK presence and creating value for our investors across the portfolio.”
Crossbay’s recent work in the North has included securing a 115,000 sq ft lease for Shawcross 115 in West Yorkshire and purchasing 94,200 sq ft of logistics space at Trafford Park’s Tenax Cross.
